Dr. Bethany Birch

Dr. Bethany Birch is from the United Kingdom and received her degree in veterinary medicine from the Royal Veterinary College in London in 2007. She moved to the United States in 2010 with her husband and has worked for Banfield since then at the South Alexandria location. Dr. Birch enjoys surgery. She particularly enjoys more complicated procedures as well as those on rabbits and guinea pigs. She has four cats who were all rescued. Their names are Zebra, Bindi, Franklin and Lexi. She enjoys baking and finding any excuse to bring cake to the hospital!

Dr. Julie Dawson

Dr. Julie Dawson received her Bachelor of Science in biology from Westminster College in 2006. She then went on to study at the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2010. After spending three years as a farm animal veterinarian, she decided to give city living a try. In her spare time, Dr. Dawson enjoys hiking and wine tasting.

Dr. Valerie Goetting received her Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences at the University of California, Davis. She also graduated from the University of California, Davis with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree. She is interested in pathology, behavior and feline medicine. Dr. Goetting is from Riverside, CA. She enjoys reading, knitting, hiking and spending time with her two cats.
