I grew up in Cottonwood, a small town located in northern Arizona. I lived in upstate New York during high school and then moved south to Fredericksburg Virginia where I completed my undergraduate degree in biology and economics at the University of Mary Washington. I returned to Phoenix following college and worked in business management for a number of years, during which time I also received my Master of Business Administration with a specialty in marketing. I enjoyed the business setting but decided it was time to pursue my lifelong dream of a career in veterinary medicine, so I moved to Fort Collins Colorado where I attended and graduated from Colorado State University with my Masters of Science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees. I have a loving wife who was my high school sweetheart (Bethany) and daughter (Aubrey) who was born in 2008. We have 3 cats (Mia, Bella, and Beau), two Dobermans (Leia and Ruby), and a leopard gecko (Leonard). We enjoy getting out on the town for dinners, movies, and to support our Arizona professional sports teams. We also enjoy spending time with our families located throughout the state.
