Toby G. Carmichael, DVM

Toby is the “force” that catalyzes much of the growth and improvements experienced at Lake City Animal Hospital since he helped open the facility in 2001. While Toby is involved in most of the veterinary services offered in the hospital, he specializes in surgical services, especially orthopedic procedures. Toby has supported or “inspired” many of the advanced services offered at the hospital. Toby earned his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from University of Georgia. Toby raises children, adopted pets and the spirits of concerned pet owners.

He is married with two children, ages 10 and 8. His days off are extremely busy. Time permitting he likes to mountain bike, cook, remodel his family's home, landscape their yard, and take time with the kids to teach them new things. He is also involved with D.O.G.S (Dads of Great Students).
