Dr. Nicole Pearsall- Owner and Veterinarian
Dr. Nicole Pearsall, originally from West Middlesex, returned back to the area in 2009 to start her own practice. Dr. Pearsall, who graduated Valedictorian from West Middlesex High School in 1998, went on and graduated Magna Cum Laude from La Roche College in Pittsburgh, PA with a B.S. in Biology and Chemistry and was the recipient of The Academic Excellence Award in the Sciences in 2003. Dr. Pearsall continued her schooling at The Purdue University of Veterinarian Medicine where she graduated with her DVM in 2007. After graduation, Dr. Pearsall worked as both a small and large animal DVM until July of 2009 when she and her husband opened Penn-Ohio Veterinary Services, which is a small animal only practice. Outside of work, Dr. Pearsall spends her free time with her miniature horses and rooting for her beloved Pittsburgh Steelers with her husband, but the majority of her time is spent with her one and only Megan, the doctor’s Australian Cattle dog (Pictured Here).
Richard “Boomer” Pearsall –Owner and Practice Manager
Boomer Pearsall, born in La Mesa, CA, was raised in New Castle, PA where he graduated Valedictorian from Neshannock High School in 1998. After high school, Boomer graduated Magna Cum Laude from La Roche College in Pittsburgh, PA with a B.S. in Biology and Chemistry and was the recipient of The Sister Maria Fest Leadership / Service Award in the Sciences in 2003. Boomer continued his education at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA where he graduated with a M.S. in Biological Sciences in 2005 after his thesis defense on pigmentation in the darter fish. Prior to opening Penn-Ohio Veterinary Services, Boomer worked as a lab instructor at Duquesne University and a high school Science teacher in New Castle, PA. Outside of work, Boomer loves to be outdoors and spends the majority of his free time running and golfing, but his Sundays are always spent in front of the TV watching the Pittsburgh Steelers playing towards a 7thSuper Bowl championship.
