I am a Pacific Northwesterner through and through. I grew up just south of Seattle and traveled east of the Cascades for college where I got my B.S. in Animal Sciences and my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Washington State University. I have competed in equestrian show jumping for over fifteen years and am that "horse crazy" girl. I also rescued and fostered retired racing Greyhounds for ten years...we found homes for 33 of these precious friends! I currently share my life with my green-eyed kitty Mischa, my Boston Terrier mix Indiana and an aquarium full of fish. My favorite aspects of veterinary medicine is the human-pet relationship, internal medicine and dermatology.
