Dr. Rodriguez

Dr. Karel Olguin Rodriguez (better known as Dr. Rodriguez) was born in Caracas, Venezuela but lived and was raised in Puerto Rico until she left home to go to Alabama for Veterinary Medicine School. She graduated from University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras with a Bachelor's degree on General Science in 2004. She graduated from Tuskegee Univeersity School of Veterinary Medicine in 2008 and moved to San Antonio, TX shortly after. After working with a local emergency and critical care hospital for 3 years, she decided to change coarses and focus more on prevention of medical problems than resolving them after they arraised. Dr. Rodriguez joined Banfield The Pet Hospital on December of 2010 and after rotating throught some of our different hospitals, ended up stablishing at our Stone Ridge location as lead Doctor. On her time off the hospital Dr. Rodriguez enjoys having fun with friends and family specially with her husband (Vince), her 3 dog (Hachiko, Sabana and Duncan) and her new baby girl (Katia).
